The exhibition "2023, TIMIȘOARA" includes moments from the year when Timișoara is the European Capital of Culture, captured by the Timișoara-based photographer Adrian Pîclișan, and can be visited from October 24th to November 12th at the ICR Vienna Gallery, Argentinierstraße 39, 1040 Wien, Austria.

About the Artist: Adrian Pîclișan holds a degree in anthropology and is one of the renowned professional photographers, a profession he has been practising for 26 years. He was a photojournalist for major newspapers and agencies in Romania (Evenimentul Zilei, Mediafax, etc.). He collaborated with all the major international press agencies (Associated Press, France Presse, European Press Agency, etc.), with his photographs published in prestigious newspapers such as the New York Times, Washington Post, etc. Concurrently, he pays special attention to art photography, directly involved in the imagery of the "Mihai Eminescu" National Theater in Timișoara. Last but not least, he is one of the "image people" of the Government, where he has served as an advisor in the General Secretariat for several years. Additionally, this year, he joined the communication team of the Ministry of Culture as an advisor. Attentive to every detail of daily life, he offers relevant content from everyday life on social media.
