A musical and poetic experiment, an original soundtrack performed live for the screening of the Italian classic L'Inferno (1911). Based on the Divine Comedy by Dante Aleghieri, the film is one of the first feature films in history.
L'Inferno is a 1911 Italian silent film, loosely adapted from Inferno, the first canticle of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. L'Inferno took over three years to make, and was the first full-length Italian feature film.
The project is part of the national cultural program “Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023” and is financed and organized in partnership with the Municipality of Timișoara through the Center for Projects.
