The Forum of Nonprofesional Ensembles has been selecting, for sixteen years, the most important amateur folk dance ensembles from Transylvania with the aim of measuring, supporting and last but not least coordinating the professional evolution of these ensembles. At the same time, the forum gives ensembles the opportunity to meet and compare their performances. Following the carefully coordinated selection by a professional jury, the 10 best choreographies will meet in Timișoara, in the city of this year's host ensemble, the Bokréta Ensemble.
The event, during which the ten best amateur ensembles from Romania will take the stage, will take place on 16 th september in the performance hall of the Student Culture Center in Timișoara.
