What does the Social Contract mean to us and which are its vulnerabilities? What makes us turn against each other? Under what circumstances would we actively partake in bringing about a dystopia? Can we debate on self preservation vs symbiosis? These questions are the departure point for a series of interviews I have begun to conduct on the streets of Cluj and among people I know. These recorded interviews are meant to draw a picture of the social fabric, exploring the emotions underlying all types of relations. In Timișoara, Gray Area will function as a context for debates on the above mentioned topics.
