An interactive digital project to synchronise the city of Arad with Timișoara, European Capital of Culture 2023

Live_audio_improv_performance from February 18 is held in the Pinacoteca of the Arad Museum Complex by Dyslex, SelfMadeMusic, Alex Halka, members of kinema ikon and constitutes a preamble to the events that will present throughout 2023 the evolution of the kimæra meta-installation.

The kimæra project, composed of 10 works by 10 artists over two years, aims to become a hybrid body, an interactive digital meta-installation in which each work/module will be functional as a part and as a whole. The installation combines old media with digital media, public city space with IoT (internet of things), AR (augmented reality), 3D printing, AI-generated sound and image, mobile applications, NFT, etc., coordinated by a central computer, each of the 10 modules has an input and an output that enable the works to interact with each other.

The kimæra project is exhibited at the Arad Museum Complex instead of the history section, which is to be rethought in a new format. From May 2023, kimæra will also have an extension at the Arad Art Museum in the new kinema ikon hall.
