A dance and theater performance featuring the use of digital technology and augmented reality elements

The event is realized in partnership with Magnum Dance Sport Team and Triade Foundation and will take place on July 23, 2023, at Cazarma U, starting at 22:00. The artistic performance is based on the experience, dramaturgy, and choreography created through the collaboration between Politehnica University of Timișoara and Magnum Dance Sport Team, together with the National Museum of Banat, accompanied by music composed by Dan Simion.

Under the spotlight, we travel back to the paths of the past, where the voices of brave young people, those seekers of change, are hidden. Our show is an ode to the youth and students who made the leap towards freedom, and their story is told using innovative digital technologies, such as mixed-reality 3D projections and augmented reality elements. These projections and elements have been created by students and professors from Politehnica University of Timișoara, involved in the "Spotlight Heritage Timișoara" project.

The performance will offer an exciting and inspiring journey through art and technology, transforming the stage into a remarkable digital landscape. We invite you to join us on the weekend for an evening where the past and the present will meet on the same stage, intertwining and creating a bridge across the border of time.

Dance and theater will merge in a spectacular way, highlighting key moments and deep emotions associated with the 1989 Revolution and the artistic trajectory of the artworks that emerged from this historic event.

We explore the past with the roots of socialism, the schools of that period, and the construction of industrial Timișoara. We follow the path of students and the secrets of contemporary Timișoara, revealed through the verses of Robert Șerban, the archival images of Constantin Duma, a symphony of words, music, images, and movement that evoke the essence of the places and people of the city on the Bega River.
