3 student parties. A light route on the Politehnica University campus. TakeOver is the students’ manifesto in celebrating Timișoara as the European Capital of Culture. Organised by Liga AC, in collaboration with Politehnica University of Timișoara and the other student organisation in the university, the project spotlights on three different spaces on the campus, in the Elisabetin historic neighbourhood. Showcased as 3 parties with different musical genres, reuniting national and international artists and students willing to share their passion for music, the university campus opens up for the entire community and becomes the epicentre of the student celebrations. The venues will become, for a night, a route marked by different musical genres, fun, connections, tolerance and freedom of expression. Together with Flight Festival and the iconic Romanian brand “Life of the Students”, we show that the European Capital of Culture belongs to the students as well.

TakeOver is the non-conformist way of students to celebrate the start of the "Timisoara European Capital of Culture in 2023" program. Follow the light trail and discover the UPT spaces like you've never seen them before!
