The event aims to present the work of architect Székely László on the emblematic buildings of Timișoara. The exhibition, which takes place in one of the last buildings designed by the architect, in the Hungarian House at 8 Revoluției Boulevard, will be open to the public for two months, starting from October 6, 2023.
The itinerant exhibition will guide the public through the corridors and rooms of the building designed by László Székely, where screenings will be shown (in Hungarian with Romanian subtitles) about the life and work of the architect.
Through the film and the visit to the building, the audience will have the opportunity to discover in detail both the personality and life of the most renowned chief architect of Timișoara, as well as the buildings designed by him, which have left an unmistakable mark on the city's architecture.
The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
