The next stop of our Programme of Observation and Discovery or POD, takes place on Thursday, 23 May 2024, at the Indecis space, where students from Rudolf Walther Secondary School and Secondary Schools No. 1 and No. 4 in Timisoara will exhibit their creations made during the workshops that took place between March and April, in a collective and travelling exhibition. With the help of art, we embark on a magnificent journey through the fascinating world of mycelium and natural social networks.
POD was structured as interdisciplinary workshops at the intersection of the natural sciences and contemporary art, with a particular focus on the fungal kingdom and the valuable lessons we can learn from them. The group and touring exhibition Chronicles Underground, part of the programme, brings together the results of the workshops and will be presented at the Indecis Artist Run and subsequently in partner schools as a POD storage ensemble for future generations of participants. The exhibition will feature sketches, plans, observations and interventions by the young researchers, together with preparatory documentation, methodologies and drawings, providing a broad context for further research by the young naturalists in other possible places and situations.
The exhibition is part of POD - Program of Observation and Discovery, a new project implemented by the Foc și Pară Association, Indecis artist run space, in partnership with Rudolf Walther Secondary School and Secondary Schools 1 and 4 in Timișoara.
