VINOVAT is a one-woman show confronting the crisis of climate change, the greatest threat to social justice today. The show examines the relationship between the philosophy of laissez-faire capitalism, consumer apathy and the suffering of people in the global south. Climate change is really happening. Pacific islands are disappearing under the ocean. A third of Bangladesh's surface is under water. Crops bake in the sun, rivers dry up, civil wars erupt around the world. Although the changes felt in Europe are not major, millions of people in countries with barely a carbon footprint are having to leave their homes to stay alive. VINOCAT asks whose responsibility it is to stop the global crisis and reminds us that it is not too late to act.
