The Merlin Theatre for Children and Youth Timișoara is a public cultural institution under the Timis County Council. Founded in 1949, the Merlin Theatre is the only puppet theatre with legal personality in the west of the country. The institution has a varied repertory programme comprising around 20 shows aimed at children and young people.

Our artistic and educational projects, which are becoming more and more numerous, aim to create a centre of cultural interest, capable of bringing the whole family together and reflecting the multiculturalism of the area, as well as opening up to new avant-garde trends.
