AREAL | space for choreographic development was formed in 2020, aiming to support choreographic creation at national and international level, increasing public interest in movement and contemporary dance, launching new projects and workshop formats and last but not least reconnecting with the international scene.
Areal Collective - through its 4 co-founders, supports and seeks to organize frequent free dance sessions, courses, workshops, residencies, mentoring sessions and dance productions, organized in Bucharest and beyond. An independent space, which exists only thanks to the funders of various projects initiated through the collective approach of a group of artists and researchers who believe in the need for performative and choreographic developments.
