We support the earth with the marionette!!!!!!!!!!
We are Sorin Dorobanțu and Nuti Dorobanțu, professional puppet actors from Arad specializing in marionettes. The Theater on Wheels was born from the desire to experiment and express ourselves freely both in the indoor and outdoor performance area. Our biggest challenge was to oversize the classic marionette. This is how our first giant puppet was born and the first from us in the country, the Ballerina-Gigalateea with a height of 3m, but also other fantastic characters also oversized (the clown girl-Mirabela (3m), the Giant Gorilla- King (3.5m ), Mermaid- Water Fairy (3 m), Dragon- DINO (4 m long), Ballerina-Gigalateea (3 m) and the Giant Tricycle. Loving the interaction with the audience at the same time, we chose to build interactive shows for all ages, shows that can be performed both in performance halls and in non-conventional spaces. Our main field of activity being shows for children, we have developed an entertainment area based on puppet and marionette shows, live music, interactive games, circus elements and fantastic characters on legs.
At the same time, we discovered extraordinary ways of expression and communication, introducing into the creative process, people with physical and mental disabilities, Autism and Down Syndrome who have adapted extraordinarily to the position of actors, bringing a great addition of emotion and sensitivity to our shows. I mention in this category the shows: "To be or not to be... a child" and "Flight".
