The project consists in supporting some masterclasses that cover the missing link in the educational curriculum, the transdisciplinary study of the arts in a syncretic way.
Within the project, a group of 40 students study theater, dance, music and visual arts with mentors from Timișoara and Bucharest, but also from France. At the end of the project, there will be a performance by the project participants.
Romania is one of the few European countries that offers free vocational education. Although young artists are thoroughly trained in their field, gaps remain. The artistic fields are not enclaved, and an artist must be interconnected with the different artistic fields.
The main objectives of the project are the creation of opportunities for the community of vocational schools and the organic development of children's artistic expression potential. A start-up for a type of complex education, with beneficial effects at the level of the individual and the community.
This project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara European Capital of Culture in the year 2023" and is financed by the Power Station+ program | Creative schools, run by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
