Behind its façade, emblematic for the city of Timisoara, the Palace of Culture surprises with a labyrinthine interior that has undergone numerous changes over time. We know the performance halls and foyers, but not the rooms, the historical moments and the mysterious life that goes on behind the scenes of the four cultural institutions that are home to the Palace - the Romanian National Opera, the National Theatre, the German State Theatre and the Hungarian State Theatre "Csiky Gergely".
