This workshop on cultural mediation and pedagogical activities in the museum is dedicated to teachers from Arad and is moderated by Delia Popa.
The workshop aims to familiarize the personnel involved in Arad education with modern and interactive methods for discovering local heritage, as well as with the works exhibited in the Arad Art Museum. The main objective is to relate them to life and the current world with a vision of possible alternative educational strategies.
Delia Popa is a visual artist and works with mediums such as painting, video, installation, performance and participatory projects. Her current theme of research is the representation of local landscape and topography in relation to ecological awareness, gentrification and climate change. She also works as an art pedagogue and cultural mediator and contributes to the development of life skills and visual culture among children and young people. Since 2013, she co-founded and led ArtCrowd-Artists in education, an art education association. Since 2022, Delia is coordinator of the Education, Communication, Cultural Projects section of the National Art Museum of Romania.
