TRIAJ starts the cultural activation of the North-West area of Timișoara, between the Synagogue in Iosefin, the Bega canal quay and the bridge in the vicinity of the former cigarette factory, Gheorghe Pop de Băsești street up to the bus station next to the pedestrian footbridge, which crosses the railway yard at the North Station and ends in the area of the former blocks for non-families in the Blascovici district. We propose two days of film screenings at CINEMA PARADISO in the courtyard at str. Pop de Băsești nr. 23
Friday, 6 Oct. at 19:30 - GUIDED TOUR, a series of short documentaries with Ionuț Pîrvulescu filmed in Blașcovici, Iosefin Square and Gaza Strip.
Saturday, 7 Oct at 19:30 - ROMÂNIA NEÎMBLÂNZITA, documentary film with the voice of Victor Rebengiuc.
CINEMA DE CARTIER is a part of TRIAJ a cultural ecosystem consisting of exhibition spaces, workshops, conferences, installations, guided tours and cultural interventions in neighbourhoods, grouped around a central event - the reopening in Timisoara of a reinterpreted version of the Holocaust Museum in Odessa, an institution that has not functioned since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
