The Timisoara Viennese Ball, recognized as the 31st ball in the world and the only Viennese Ball recognized in Romania by the Vienna City Hall, opens its doors for its 10th anniversary edition on 25 November 2023, at the National Theatre in Timisoara.

A historic moment, in which the Timisoara Viennese Ball celebrates a decade of generosity and distinction, in the European Capital of Culture, alongside the guest of honour, the New York Viennese Ball.

The Timisoara Viennese Ball is a registered trademark in Brussels and is organised under the High Patronage of the Embassy of Austria. It is internationally recognised and honoured by the participation of representatives of Romanian embassies, consulates, royal families, local institutions and investors. The event gathers the elegance and tradition of Vienna in the heart of Timișoara.

The mission of the Ball is to support around 750 children and young people in Timisoara with the help of the United Way Romania Foundation. In synergy with the charitable side, it has developed over time a well-known educational tradition, as it introduces children and teenagers from Timișoara to the mysteries of classical dance and symphonic music through the Viennese Ball Academy.

An Event That Unites the Community: the Timisoara Viennese Ball amplifies the spirit of social awareness of Timisoara's citizens and gathers international business and institutional circles in a cultural fairytale scenery of Timisoara's National Theatre.
