Cultural projects. Cultural Mediation and Public Engagement – 2 teaser workshops covering a range of ideas, themes, activities and discussions through which we critically examine and anchor concepts and practice, definitions, history, context, actors, relationships, interactions, tools and discourses about and around cultural projects - as pathways from needs, to ideas, to funding proposals and cultural mediation, respectively - seen both as education through culture and as education for culture, to acquire information and skills and to visit attitudes that prepare us to make culture meaningful, building the cultural offer and experiences with/about/each member of the community.

Mihaela 'Miha' Tilincă, born 1961, is an educator and cultural mediator from Timișoara, involved in the development, monitoring and evaluation of projects in culture and education, training, research and design of cultural training and mediation programs. In the last twenty-five years he developed and implemented projects and did cultural mediation for the British Council, Asociația Culturală Contrasens, Civicultura, Politehnica University Timișoara. She is a graduate of the University of West Timișoara (1984) and has a doctorate in discourse analysis and literacy from Lancaster University (2007).

The Only Tomorrow Speculative Laboratory project is part of the national cultural program Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023 and is financed through the program Inside Timișoara 2023, run by the Project Center of the Municipality of Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the budget of state, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
