The exhibition includes works that address current problems from the perspective of possible developments, solutions or diversions of situations. The process of making these projects involved a critical approach to the present, research methods through art, and speculative methods of imagining alternative futures. Speculative thinking is a way of embodying "as if" and basically has behind it a scenario about the future or something imagined that does not exist, but answering real or plausible questions and problems with solutions that combine creativity with technology and science. In this sense, the curatorial concept of the exhibition focuses on the following artistic and interdisciplinary coordinates: the speculative approach (which can be: design, fiction or speculative realism, in order of the complexity of the idea behind the work), the connection with the present (subjects related to current crises, new technologies, etc.), interactivity (digital or analogue) and the laboratory (transparency of artistic research).
The exhibition includes interdisciplinary works at the intersection of art, research and new media, made by young people from a number of faculties in the country and abroad.
