The project aims to integrate psycho-emotional and social elements into the school curriculum through cultural-creative means, in order to create a healthy, creative and interconnected educational environment. The organizers aim to combine culture with psychoeducation by organizing drama therapy and oratory workshops, held with two separate groups of students from two high schools.
The young people involved will be introduced to the cultural world through a total of 31 activities, which will contribute to a harmonious personal development. At the end of the project, three artistic performances will take place: two drama therapy masterclasses with the public and a marathon of monologues on various current topics.
In addition, within the project, two courses will be held for teachers from Timișoara, one focused on theater exercises, the other on oratory exercises.
This project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara European Capital of Culture in the year 2023" and is financed by the Power Station+ program | Creative schools, run by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
