Three classes from the Jean Louis Calderon High School, accompanied by 5 teachers, go through a multidisciplinary curriculum introducing elements of visual culture during eight weekly meetings.
The curriculum, developed with educational facilitators and visual culture specialists, spans multiple mediums - painting and photography, film, photojournalism and social media and uses multimedia materials - to provide an up-to-date education in image consumption in an oversaturated decade of image production.
This project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara European Capital of Culture in the year 2023" and is financed by the Power Station+ program | Creative schools, run by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
