Internationally acclaimed for her contribution to contemporary dance, Adrienn Hód (Hungary) has choreographed numerous films, plays, commercials and peformances, and on the opening weekend of the Capital of Culture programme she will hold a workshop in Timisoara on contemporary dance and improvisation techniques for professional dancers.
Based on improvisation, expression and emotion in dance, her method offers participants a familiar, intimate space where they are invited to work with their imagination and physical sensations, both individually and together. The movement takes on new dimensions of expression by accessing deep feelings and natural emotions.
The workshop is addressed to dancers with at least 2 years of experience, and will take place at Casa Tineretului (FITT Timișoara), in the Rotunda Hall.
This project is part of the national cultural programme ”Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in the year 2023" and is funded by the Municipality of Timișoara, through the Center for Projects.
