For the launch of the project Post-Education. Pedagogies of the crisis, whose aim is to develop a cultural ecosystem that supports education in addressing the current crises and creating strategies for a sustainable future, by harnessing the critical and emancipatory role of art and the innovative role of new technologies, we propose a unique exhibition by students and professors from the Master in Interactive Technologies for Performing Arts and Media and the Master in New Media Design, CINETIC, University of Theatre and Film Bucharest, entitled Pixels from a past future. The works aspire to visualize empathy and proximity and reverberate in a nature that is blurred by capturing the presence of the visitor in the data stream. Memories come to life as pixels, provoking new fears. Are we captives of our past like Narcissus to his image or can we be born again? Recent events increasingly question our order, the need for a new accord with ourselves and the planet arises. Are we capable of achieving it? Have we begun to dream of it? Is it already written?
