Casa Jakab Toffler continues this year the series of activities and public events through which we aim to value the inner courtyards of the house and the tangible and intangible heritage of the Fabric neighborhood, with an emphasis on what creates, forms and keeps human relationships alive.
In a problematic housing context, dominated by a damaged real estate fund and an architectural heritage in continuous degradation, as residents, neighbors and friends who know the realities and needs of the neighborhood, we propose several collective actions aimed at improving life and living at common, both for the members and members of the Jakab Toffler house micro community but also for the neighbors of the Fabric neighborhood in Timișoara.
We'll be back on time with announcements related to research and creative residencies, the Married vs. Singles started in 1936, various mediation and cultural education activities, workshops, theater and documentary film evenings, concerts, as well as the long-awaited amateur football championship on natural grass – Football in Traian edition #2
All these events allow us to negotiate public space, solidarity and self-organization and obtain new forms of interaction, in direct relation to the concept of housing - from its physical dimension to the symbolic one.
