The Sound Archive is an audio series of pop-cultural commentary now in its fourth season - created by Paul Breazu, Ionuț Dulămiță and Mihai Lukàcs - which scans the way in which music and various artistic environments have reverberated in socio-political contexts and moments. In the residency hosted by Casa Jakab Toffler, AdS explores and remixes narratives generated and located in a particular area of the city of Timișoara, the Fabric district. We start from the various pop cultural modeling associated with the place and its recent history, trace the social fabrics of the multiple communities that have lived and live here, and reflect on the uncertain future of the neighborhood most exposed to real estate development "without people".
