Guided Tour | POROUS MATTER with Mirela Stoeac-Vlăduți

We invite you on Friday, December 8, starting at 18:00, to a guided tour of the POROUS MATTER exhibition, coordinated by Mirela Stoeac-Vlăduți, the curator of the exhibition.

The guided tour with Mirela Stoeac-Vlăduți is a unique opportunity to explore the complex world of porous materials and how they influence our ideas and society as a whole.

The exhibition POROUS MATTER. Void Fractions in Materials, Ideas and Society aims to delve into the mysterious and often ignored areas of "void fractions" in our world. By exploring the concept of "porous matter," the exhibition opens a window on porosity in a way that challenges us to reflect on deep and tangible implications in the social, ecological and technological fields.

The four artists from Romania and Norway - Floriama Cândea, Maria Castellanos, Cosmin Haiaș, Stahl Stenslie, together with four scientists - Florin Drăgan (UPT), Alex Hansen (Porelab), Liviu Marșavina (UPT), Marcel Moura (Porelab ) and together with the curatorial team of the project - Mirela Stoeac-Vlăduți (curator) and Loredana Nedelcu (assistant curator), examine through their works and perspectives the complex relationship between porous materials and the impact of their research on ideas and society as a whole. Through contemporary art installations, artistic and scientific experiments, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the multifaceted nature of void fractions and their role in shaping our physical and conceptual environment.

We invite you to discover together the complex interconnection between materials, ideas and society, as well as the connections between art and science.

Participation is free and does not require prior registration!

See you at META Spatiu!
