Written in 1942, Mihály Erdélyi's work was the "publicity material" of wartime propaganda. It was performed in three places at the same time: the Erzsébetváros Theatre, the Óbuda Theatre and the Ida Turay Theatre, with renowned actors such as Árpád Latabár and Kálmán Latabár. There was also a sequel, All of Us Must Go, but it is no longer available.
The play was staged by Zoltán Bezerédi and was performed again in 1991 by the class of Horvai István and Kapás Dezső.
