Minitremu Discussion Workshop is an informal meeting through which we will talk about the activity of the association that started ten years ago, and we will present fragments of our own experience, together with some theoretical and practical educational resources, to provide an overview of recent changes in pedagogy artistic.

Minitremu is the educational extension of the artistic duo Monotremu, composed of Laura Borotea and Gabriel Boldiș. Continuing a practice that critically highlights issues in the public space, their work as organizers and educators is focused on building pedagogical alternatives and cultural exchanges. Starting from 2013, Minitremu generates several pedagogical tools such as modular wooden toys, activity books, a contemporary art summer camp, various workshops, as well as a series of educational projects that complement the curriculum of national schools and high schools. The aim is to offer a series of collective experiences through which young generations can come into contact with artistic processes that generate dialogue and reflection, that encourage them to always ask questions, look at things from new perspectives and develop their own vision of life.

Minitremu Discussion Workshop is organized within the Pedagogies of the Crisis Theoretical Workshop, which takes place between March 24-25, 2023 in Arad.
